Fall Theological Conference
The 2017 Tri-Synodical Fall Conference for rostered leaders will be held at the Sheraton, West Des Moines from September 24-26, 2017.
Speakers Anna Madsen and Bishop Guy Erwin will address the: the theme “The Reformation: What’s at Stake? Then and Now.” Bishop Elizabeth Eaton will also be in attendance for a presentation and to preach and preside at the Monday evening communion service. Reformation Commemoration Service

Save the date for a Reformation Commemoration Service to be held jointly by the Nebraska and Western Iowa synods at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017 at St. John's Parish on the Creighton University campus in Omaha, Nebraska.
Bishop Brian Maas of the Nebraska Synod and Bishop Rodger Prois of the Western Iowa Synod will be leading the worship service. The service also will feature choral music to help commemorate the occasion. Representatives of the ELCA's ecumenical partners will be invited to attend and participate.

Join us Oct. 27-28 for a Reformation Festival featuring speakers and workshops addressing key Reformation themes in theology and music.
Attend a performance on Friday evening by the National Lutheran Choir of "Holy Spirit Mass," a new choral work commissioned for the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation, at Ted Mann Concert Hall in Minneapolis. Norwegian composer Kim André Arnesen has been commissioned to write this significant new work.
On Saturday afternoon, the festival will conclude with a worship service at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton will preach and local church choirs will sing.
