The Western Iowa Synod Mission Endowment Committee is accepting mission grant applications until August 11, 2023. Past mission grant recipients have included congregational community meal programs, food pantries, gardening projects, mission trips, backpacks for kids, and other similar ministries.  Grants have ranged fromn $200 to $1,500.

Starting this year, the committee is offering a separate grant for technology. This is the first year we are offering this grant.  The technology grant is focused on hardware and software that will enhance worship, programming, communications, administrative tasks or replacing outdated hardware and software.  Due to the newness of this new endowment, the initial range for the grant will be around $200 to $400.

Applicants may apply for both the mission and technology endowments.
